Flapjacks

Why choose super sweet, supermarket flapjacks when you can have these light, fruit yet also hugely satisfying flapjacks with perfect sweetness.

  • 75 g Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 70 g Raisins
  • 150 g Oats
  • 15 ml Lemon Juice Freshly Squeezed
  • 180 g Grated Apple

How to make

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a square baking tin with parchment paper.
  • Firstly grate the apple into a large bowl and squeeze the lemon juice over and mix. This will prevent the apple from going brown.
  • To the grated apple, add the rest of the ingredients.
  • Using your hands, mix all the ingredients together. This can be messy.
  • Transfer the mixture to the baking tin, and using your hands press down so the mixture covers the bottom of the tin evenly.
  • Place the tin in oven and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Take out of the oven and when partially cooled, cut into squares. We do this whilst the flapjacks are still warm so they dont fall apart when cooled.
