Black Pepper Chicken

A delicious Chinese “Fakeaway” – Nutritious, simple, and it doesn’t disappoint in fiery heat.

Ingredients How to make

Ingredients

  • 100 g Raw King prawns defrosted
  • ¼ tsp Whole black peppercorns
  • ¼ tsp Dried chilli flakes
  • ½ tsp Cumin & Coriander mixture
  • 5 g Garlic (finely chopped)
  • 5 g Ginger (finely chopped)
  • 30 g Red onion (sliced)
  • 30 g Green pepper (sliced)
  • 30 g Red pepper (sliced)
  • 3 g Coriander (separate the leaves from the stalks)
  • 1 ½ tsp Tamari
  • ¾ tsp Mirin
  • 60 ml Bone broth

How to make

  • Marinate the prawns using tamari, mirin, black pepper, cumin, ground coriander, chilli flakes, garlic, ginger and coriander stalks for at least 20 minutes.
  • Heat a deep frying pan or wok on a medium heat and add the bone broth.
  • Add the onions and peppers to the pan and allow to cook for a few minutes.
  • Add the marinated prawns to the pan and cook for around 10 minutes, until the prawns are cooked through. If there is still liquid in the pan, remove the prawns and vegetables and allow the liquid to evaporate, leaving a thick sauce to drizzle over the prawns

This exercise is great for targeting the core.

✅ Keep feet firmly on the floor
✅ Control the movement
✅ Avoid pulling on your neck

To maintain stability rest feet under a bench or sofa, or have a partner hold your feet down.

Curling your wrists during a bicep curl detracts from the primary focus on the biceps brachii muscle. Instead, it places emphasis on the muscles in your forearms, particularly the wrist flexors.

Although these forearm muscles contribute to the movement, they are secondary to the biceps, so to maximise bicep stimulation, it is important to maintain a neutral wrist position throughout the exercise.

Excessively curling your wrists increases the risk of injury. The tendons and ligaments in your wrists are not designed to bear heavy loads while in a flexed position. Repeatedly curling your wrists in this manner can lead to discomfort, strain, and potentially more severe issues such as tendonitis or sprains.
