Going through menopause seems to be a very individual journey for each woman, however there are some common symptoms with varying degrees. My personal journey has been about specific stages and moments, as opposed to a long and never-ending phase. I’ve experienced hot flushes, night sweats, aches and pains, joint stiffness, sleep deprivation, cloudy thoughts, phantom periods, mood swings, hair loss, dehydrated skin and panic attacks.
I created this tea to help towards alleviating some of these symptoms which can be so disruptive to daily life. The mixture of herbs is strong to balance hormones and provide a general sense of calm.
It’s ingredients include:
Organic moringa, organic sage, organic marjoram, organic tulsi, organic rosemary.
ORGANIC MORINGA
Moringa is a plant that is typically used to make medicine. The leaves contain 7x more vitamin C than oranges, and 15x more potassium than bananas. The moringa plant is packed with calcium, protein, iron, and amino acids, and also with antioxidants to protect your cells from damage. Another benefit of the moringa plant is that it may boost your immune system.
ORGANIC SAGE
Sage is a member of the mint family, and it’s leaf is used to make medicine. Sage can improve digestive problems, and can reduce overproduction of perspiration and saliva. It’s also loaded with antioxidants, which help ease menopause symptoms and memory loss.
ORGANIC MARJORAM
Marjoram is a unique aromatic herb used to aid digestion and menstruation. It’s benefits include antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, alleviating digestive symptoms, regulating your menstrual cycle and hormones.
ORGANIC TULSI
Tulsi, commonly known as Holy Basil, is considered a ‘tonic for the body, mind, and spirit’. The Tulsi plant acts as an adaptogen, which is a natural substance that helps your body adapt to stress, and also promotes mental balance.
ORGANIC ROSEMARY
Rosemary is a herb that is known for its medicinal properties, and delicious flavours. It was traditionally used to alleviate muscle pain, improve memory, and boost the immune system and blood circulation. It is a rich source of antioxidants and anti-inflammatories, and can also boost alertness, intelligence and focus.
